Hush began with a love for baking and a brownie people couldn't stop talking about.
From Passion to Hush
My love for cooking began long before Hush had a name. Growing up, I often found myself experimenting in my aunt's kitchen, where my passion for creating something delicious slowly grew. Eventually, brownies became my little speciality.
Before I ever imagined starting a brand, I had a regular customer — my brother's friend, who ordered my brownies almost every week. His appreciation made me realise that what I baked at home could be something truly special.
After moving to Chennai following my marriage, my husband and I decided to share my brownies at our church's harvest festival. They sold out in about an hour, and soon, people began asking when I'd bake again. From gifting brownies to friends to fulfilling orders from my husband's colleagues, what started as a simple passion gradually grew into something more.
That's when we decided to turn that passion into Hush.

Hush is more than a brownie brand to us. Every flavour, every detail, and every little element has been thoughtfully shaped to create something distinctive and memorable. I wanted Hush to stand out in its own way — through its character, creativity, and, of course, its brownies.
Through it all, my husband has been my biggest supporter, encouraging me to believe in this dream and bring it to life. As a software developer, he has taken on the creation of this very website, bringing his own skills and creativity into the process. While I pour my heart into the brownies, flavours, and brand, he helps bring the bigger picture to life.
From the brownies we create to the experience we want you to have when you discover Hush, so much of it carries a little piece of both of us.
We may have different roles, but this dream belongs to us together.
